Kazumasa Hashimoto
Kazumasa Hashimoto is a pianist, composer and mastering engineer. He majored in composition at the Tokyo College of Music. Influenced by minimalist composers, electro-acoustic music and electronica, Hashimoto skilfully blends the rich tones of the piano and other orchestral instruments with glitch noises, sine waves, electronics and field recordings.
Kazumasa has performed live along with big names such
as "Sketch Show" (Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi) at a
"Code" event headed by Ryuichi Sakamoto in October 2003, and supported
the Tokyo show of the Morr music label tour 2004 in Japan.
